Schleuniger CoaxStrip 5500 Programmable Coaxial Cable Stripping Machine

The CoaxStrip 5500 (successor of the MP 8015), can strip coaxial, triaxial and multi-conductor cables as well as single conductor wires up to 15 mm O.D. Due to its unique 4-blade concept, this machine can process very thin, difficult to strip or out-of-round insulations. In the development of this machine, Schleuniger has incorporated state-of-the-art electronics, a user-friendly graphic display and fully programmable gripper force. The stripping and incision forces, productivity and program memory capacity have been significantly improved from the predecessor MP 8015. A new high-tech coating on the mechanical parts of the stripping head ensures a long lasting life.

The CoaxStrip 5500 offers the following advantages:

• 20 % higher production rate - up to 450 units per hour
• Maximum stripping length increased from 80 mm up to 85 mm
• Improved cable clamping force and stripping force
• Cable clamping force is programmable instead of fixed
• Menu guided programming and graphical user interface
• Larger memory storage capacity - up to 1000 cables and 100 lists
• Optional robotic interface to create a complete cable processing line
