The new range of pull testers from schleuniger are dual-range, motorised, bench-top units designed to measure pull-test forces of wire crimp connections as well as ultrasonic metal welding connections on a wider range than single-range pull test devices.
The PullTester 25 measures the maximum measured force (destructive) test, while the Pull-Tester 26 can also perform non-destructive tests (hold to a specified force). They both have two measuring ranges, which are individually calibrated enabling use of its 500N scale for small wires, and 1000N for larger wires. This dual range capability ensures the highest accuracy for the widest range of applications.
Both models are equipped with a controlled speed motor, ensuring consistent pull rates throughout the measuring range, which means repeatable and accurate data.

The PT28 has additional features over the PT27 to accommodate more stringent test requirements. It can perform non-destructive tests (held to a specified force). This has two measuring ranges which are individually calibrated enabling use of its 2000 N scale for small wires, while easily switching to its 5000 N range for larger wires. It can be integrated with a quality network which ties in crimp height, pull test and crimp force data to ensure a high quality tested product. It has a memory of up to 2400 values.
