The new Gold Place series are low priced pick and place machines with optional laser centring. Manufactured in the US by APS , specialists in Surface Mount Production Equipment for over 30 years.

There are 3 models available:

•  L60 to take PCB 13.5" x 32" (343 x813 mm) 96 feeder positions

•  L40 to take PCB 13.5" x 22" (343 x 460 mm) 48 feeder positions

•  L20 to take PCB 13.5" x 12" (343 x 305 mm) 32 feeder positions

A wide range of components can be placed including 0402's, 0603's, 0805's, 1206's, melfs, SO-28 to SO-8's, SOT's, SOIC's, (fine pitch) QFP's, BGA,s large PLCC's, sockets and many others.

Laser Centring
Although the basic machine is supplied with mechanical centring, optional laser centring enables fast and accurate placement of the complete range of components.

Software
The latest pentium PC's are included with these machines and software is WindowsTM based to allow easy teach-in, requiring minimal operator training.

Integral CAD conversion software is also an optional feature.
