    Technical Specification

The newest automatic cutting machine from the Schleuniger product family is the EcoCut 3200, which can be configured according to individual needs and allows to measure and cut cables, wires and tubes.

    Unique Tube Cutter Principle

The EcoCut 3200 is available with a tube cutting head or a universal cable cutting head.  The unique tube cutting principle results in perpendicular, burr free cuts. With the special tube cutting head, tubes of up to 12.7 mm outer diameter can be processed. The universal cable cutting head processes cables, wires as well as tubes up to 10 mm outer diameter.

The EcoCut 3200 is electronically controlled and features several interfaces for peripheral components. The electrically driven rollers feed the material in increments of 0.1 mm to the universal cutting unit. The cutting unit is electrically driven and position controlled. Operation is based on menu-guided programming and is therefore extremely easy and user-friendly. The cutter heads can be changed in less than one minute.

Tube cutting head with double cutting blade

The quiet roller drive transports materials to be cut with continuous, repetitive accuracy to the programmed length. High transport speed and the double cutting mode (blades that cut in both directions) guarantee quick cycle time. The EcoCut 3200 can be used as a stand alone machine or it can be integrated into a processing line.

    Automatic Inline Processing

The EcoCut 3200 can easily be integrated with a prefeeder and a hot stamp marker. Interfaces for inkjet printing and post-processing equipment are optionally available.
