    Crimping Station for CrimpCenter Series

    State-of-the-art components make the new 20 kilonewton crimp press UniCrimp 220 A the perfect station for highly efficient crimping on the CrimpCenter 36. The adjustable height of the base frame can be fitted to the swivel arm position for high speed crimping. It precisely processes wires up to 6 mm² (10 AWG).

    CFM 20 – the integrated crimp force monitoring assures high precision results during production. Automatic crimp height adjustment is optional and allows for faster setup and sample configuration. Together with the Schleuniger CHM and WinCrimp software, variance between nominal and measured crimp heights can automatically be adjusted.

    All international standards are met with two adjustable stroke settings of 30 mm (1.18″) or 40 mm (1.58″). Different fittings are available for all applicator types. Side or rear feed as well as mechanical or pneumatic applicators are fully compatible with the new station.

    Uni-A Crimp Applicator

    For short applicator changeover times, the UniCrimp 220 A features a quick-change applicator clamping plate. To further minimize machine downtime of your CrimpCenter, we recommend using our ToolingShuttle System (TSS) with ToolingShuttle 30.

    ToolingShuttle System (TSS)

    With the ToolingShuttle 30, applicator, terminal reel and paper winder can be prepared for production while the CrimpCenter is running – minimizing machine downtime significantly when frequently changing applicators.
